Your wedding breakfast at our wedding reception venue

When it comes to choosing the perfect wedding reception venue for your celebration in Cambridge, picking one with a wedding breakfast you’ll remember for years to come is of the utmost importance, and we’re sure your guests will agree!

Our talented in-house chefs and catering team are renowned for their stylish and modern food and will make the first meal you eat as a married couple one of the best you’ve had. And there’s plenty of opportunity for you to influence what ends up on everyone’s plates too.

The most important meal of the day

After your drinks reception, our friendly team will welcome you and your guests to sit down for the wedding breakfast. For large parties, this will take place in the Garden Room, which also has a dancefloor and space for a live band or DJ to help you and your loved ones celebrate post-meal. There’s a bar connected to it too. Alternatively, the Drawing Room is a sophisticated option for eating, if your group is smaller and you want more of an intimate affair. Or why not make the most of sunny weather and hold your wedding breakfast outside? The terraced area has plenty of room for tables and chairs, and you can play garden games on the lawn.

To help you with your wedding food planning, we’ve created an extensive menu, unique to our Cambridgeshire wedding venue and it can be easily adapted to suit your own tastes and the style of your day. We pride ourselves on creating delicious food that’s refreshingly contemporary but full of special occasion flair. Even better, we use locally sourced, seasonal produce wherever we can and cater to a number of dietary requirements.

Our elegant starters are designed to set the precedent for the rest of your wedding breakfast and feature decadent wild mushrooms and truffle cream, spicy sweet potatoes and zesty tomatoes and piquillo peppers. A stellar follow up, our main courses include slow cooked lamb rump with fondant potatoes, seared fillet of cod with chorizo and bean cassoulet, apricot and sage-stuffed porchetta and beetroot and goat’s cheese risotto.

For the sweet-toothed among your guests, our dessert list is made up of classics like sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie, as well as clever twists, such as our banana and salted caramel parfait and Prosecco and grape jelly.
