Choose our historic manor house wedding venue, and spend the day in this remarkable setting with seven acres of grounds and paddocks to make the most of too!
The grounds that surround Swynford Manor consist of seven acres of green lawns and paddocks. With a history of horses, it’s no surprise that there’s so much open space, and thanks to its role as a private estate, Swynford Manor’s greenery is all neatly framed by huge trees and a long gravel drive, ensuring privacy on your special day.
As well as the wide expanses of preened green and majestic trees, there are little pockets for private moments. Take the time to explore the lovely flower-filled nooks with your partner – there are plenty of brilliant photo spots.
You’re welcome to use all the manor house wedding venue’s grounds on your special day. Why not have garden games on the lawn, or invite guests outside for a toast after your ceremony in the Study or Garden Room? If you’d prefer an entirely al fresco ceremony, the pergola is fully licensed, and the outside seating area has room for up to 150 guests. The outside terrace
The terrace is adjacent to the Study and easy to access from the main manor house. If you’re having an indoor wedding, this unique raised area still has a part to play in your celebrations. Once you’ve said ‘I do’ in either the Study or Garden Room, why not usher your guests outside, where they can enjoy a glass of champagne and take in the breathtaking views? It is a great opportunity for you and your partner to create a lasting reminder of your vows with professional photographs in the room you said those two important words in. Then, slip outside to join your loved ones on the elevated terrace for a group picture.
You need to see Swynford Manor’s glorious grounds to really believe them. Head to our Book a visit page and we’ll help you arrange a one-to-one guided tour of our manor house wedding venue and its picturesque surroundings.
